Volunteer

Volunteer: a person who freely offers to take part in an enterprise or undertakes a task.
Many schools and organizations call for people to volunteer. This past year has been hard on
many groups who depend on volunteers. Due to COVID and the rules given to us by UAM, we
had to cut back on volunteers at WFC. This year we have hopes that this will all change. I hope
that you will consider using your skills to help us reach the students on UAM campus. Please
keep your eyes open for these opportunities to help.
Current: 1. Provide occasional rides to church for students without cars.
2. Be friendly and help students feel at home.
3. Pray for students and the mission work being done.
Future: 1. Provide meals for WFC Tuesday night “meal and Bible study.”
2. Tailgating — help prepare food, setup, interacting with students.
3. Prepare and package meals for our faculty outreach program.
I know additional opportunities will arise. Thank you in advance for your help, continued
support, and your efforts in reaching the lost.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human
masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the
Lord Christ you are serving” (Colossians 3:23-24). “Let us not become weary in doing good, for
at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity,
let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians
6:9-10).
